Inspiration to sew: 20 Stash busting friendly bag patterns08:00
Today I wanted to share some of my favourite fat quarter friendly bag patterns. Some of these sewing patterns might need less than a fat quarter, while other might need a bit more extra fabric for trimmings, pockets and lining. But this month is The Big November Destashing month, so this is a perfect time for you to summon your courage, grab your shears and start sewing some new bags!
I also wanted to say that all these patterns are all made by independent designers, wonderful, talented, people who share their knowledge and creativity with us all. So without further ado, let’s browse some bag sewing patterns!
There’s a reason we love wearing and making tote bags: they are so easy to make and so versatile. Take them to the market, to the gym, to class, to the library, to the museum. Take them everywhere. Or keep them in the house and use them to organise and store mittens and scarfs in the hallway, recyclable bags in the kitchen, you name it. Here are some great tote bag sewing patterns for you to try!
