Can't keep up

Hello lovelies!!

As you can tell, life has gotten busy for me lately, posting always slows down when real life gets in the way...how dare it? But I keep meaning to do this post to say thank you.

Seriously, what's going on? 122k views? Wow, I'm blown away, thank you all.

My first post was a warning that I'd got a blog...my second was on Sunday 28th February 2010, and this is what I wrote.

"Ok, so I've done it. I've succumbed to the temptation to get a blog and litter the wonderful world of cyber space with my random ramblings. I've always thought that 'bloggers' (said in a slightly derogatory way) were people who were totally self absorbed and living in cloud cuckoo land. I mean, honestly, to imagine that anyone in the real world would consciously choose to have to read their writings. Almost as though they were doing a service to their poor readers by inflicting their blurb on them.
But anyway, now I've grown up, got a life, and realised some of us just have far too much to say in this world, and shouldn't inflict it on people who HAVE to listen to us (friends and the like), but instead on people who WANT to read it! Imagine that....anyone choosing to see if I've had anything to say and then reading the rubbish I have said! Amazing. I wonder if there's a way you can stalk your readership, analyse their journey through your blog and then see what they're thinking about it......"

I wish I could see into the lives of all my readers, I've loved connecting with those of you who choose to share your blog or facebook with me, and the relationships we've built up through a series of comments and emails. I've got friends all over the world now, and I'm so blessed to know you.

I like to think my blog writing has improved in the last few years, I always try to include a photo or two in each blog post to keep it interesting *checks back* Might need to add another, hold on....

Ok, that's better.

So I thought we'd better celebrate over here on the old blog, the fact that you are all the best readers a girl could have!

Let's do a giveaway. Leave a comment below telling me what you'd love to win from my etsy store and then we'll find a winner/s next week. For the sake of doing things properly let's say the closing date is Thursday 26th September at Midnight GMT. Or are we BST still? When do the clocks change in the UK? I haven't decided how many people will win, I might just go crazy! (Or I might only have one winner lol)

Anyway, leave a comment, that's all.
{I hate jumping through ten trillion hoops to enter a giveaway!}

  7. Wowzers! Congrats on writing your ramblings in a way that folks love to read! I love reading what you have to say. Part of that is the fun and zany way you write and a big, big part is you. You are funny, clever, thoughtful, creative and have become a special part of my life. Who would have thought that people never met, on the other side of the globe could become such an integral part of one's life?
    I already have all of your lovely bag patterns :P and consider myself privileged to test for your patterns. Like Maria said - keep that spare room so that one day I may be able to turn my ideas of visiting from a dream to a reality. I love your bag parts but suspect that the postage would be insane around the globe when local postage would be more economical; so I can't really order any and I also don't expect you to post any to me either. much love and blessing to you.

  10. One day a year or so ago, I had the fortune to win a bag pattern on someone's blog. Unfortunately that bag pattern came with a stalker! Seriously though, I am so glad I emailed you the day I won that pattern to say thanks...

    I think I'd like the Satchel pattern as I think it would be perfect for a bag for my mum. Not for me, I need a bag that fits the kitchen sink (literally as of tomorrow when my temporary sink gets ripped out...)
