Last week we cancelled our church lifegroups, we cancelled our kidz club, we cancelled our youth group...for good reason though! We had a family quiz!!

We cleared the main hall, set out chairs in groups, Helen wrote some questions, Jenny baked some cakes, we all invited our friends and family and then we got down to the very serious business of quizzing!

Unfortunately Helen & I didn't get to play, so we sat at the back & did the marking, and were generally helpful people!

We charged £1 entry and 50p for under 11's and ended up with a total prize pot of £55!!

We even had the requisite celebrity quiz master in the form of Garin Jenkins, former Wales international rugby player, winner of 58 caps, and all round great man of God!

It was a really fun night, and it was easy to invite people to who wouldn't usually come into church. We're trying to think of any more fun events we can hold now, so if you've got any ideas, they're very welcome!
