Scrap busting Luggage Tags by Michelle from Uniquely Michelle {November Destashing}
19:46“Mrs. H’s Big November Destash, say it isn’t so, I love my stash and I am sure I will
use it someday, but just not today!”
This is what I think when I look at my fabric
stash. I LOVE fabric and have a tendency to buy it faster than I use it – does anyone
else have this problem?!? When I think about it, I know I would rather see my
favourite fabrics made into something that I will love and use or that I can give to
someone else to love and use. I also know it is good to use the fabric in my stash
because fabric designers are always designing new fabric lines that I end up falling
in love with, so I may as well use some of my stash to make room for new fabric. ;)
The Just the Ticket Luggage Tag has a fun, ticket shape. The main body of the luggage tag has a clear vinyl pocket that fits a business card perfectly. The flap snaps over the top of the vinyl pocket keeping your personal information hidden from view. Use the sturdy strap to loop the tag around the handle of your piece of luggage and you are ready for your next vacation or business trip. Your Just the Ticket Luggage Tag will be easy to spot among the sea of black luggage and it will add your personality to your personal, black luggage. (How did I know you own black luggage?)
The Just the Ticket Luggage Tag would be nice as part of a matching set with a travel bag, like Megan Travel Tote by Uniquely Michelle or Mrs. H’s Weekender Travel Bag. How stylish to travel with beautiful handmade travel bag and a matching tag?
Although the obvious way to use the Just the Ticket Luggage Tag is to identify your luggage in a personal and unique way, another great way to use this tag is as a gift tag. With the holiday season coming up, the Just the Ticket Luggage Tag makes a perfect gift card or cash holder as well. A gift card or some folded paper money will fit in the vinyl ID pocket under the flap. I think adding some cash to the Just the Ticket Luggage Tag is a creative way to give newlyweds some spending cash for their honeymoon.

The Big November Destash has inspired me to use some of my stash! I hope you are inspired to use your stash too, whether you make the Just the Ticket Luggage Tag or some of the other wonderful sewing projects that have been shared on Mrs. H’s blog for the month of November!
